All Absec Site administrators have the facility to encode cards on-site using a Windows based user-friendly software program. This means they can create and amend card details quickly and easily.
Each time a card transaction takes place all of the transaction details including the user's name, the items purchased, the prices paid, the time and the date are recorded by the Absec terminal. Details are then relayed back to a central database where reports on card and sales activity can be generated.
Transactional details stored at Absec terminals are transferred to the central database across TCP/IP and RS485 environment. If the site prefers, it is also possible to collect the information by downloading it from the terminal to a laptop.
